When introduced to the concept by Lil Kabeer and Faizan, I instantly knew that I wanted to work with wide frames for this one. Tried adding some layers to my compositions with small elements that seemed relevant to the concept and the track, and with the help of the people of J Block.
Talk about the lighting, the goal was to achieve the kinda pallets that compliment the track and the pallet that was used for the cover art of the album, Darpan Store. With improvisations at multiple points of the shoot, and Waris' work on the colours that complimented the on-set lighting, I think we were able to pull off about 80% of what was planned on paper.
